Education & Work
Through partnership with the Colorado Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Commonground works in high schools across Colorado to support students in postsecondary planning. Our services cover a wide range. From applying to college, working on Capstone projects, learning skills to be successful in a workplace, practicing organization, or building a personal budget, we meet students where they are and help facilitate success in life during and after high school.

Beyond School Support
Beyond School Support is a private consulting option for clients to receive Job Support services and Education & Work services with less limitations. This service allows more flexibility in service goals and can include more academic focused support, out-of-school meeting opportunities, respite, and more. Athletics & Recreation
CommonGround Athletics partners with organizations to create tailored training programs, curricula, and coaching that foster inclusive athletic opportunities. By focusing on adaptive techniques and inclusive coaching practices, they ensure athletes of all abilities can participate fully and confidently. Their collaborative approach helps organizations build welcoming environments that celebrate diversity and promote equal access to sports, empowering every individual to reach their potential on and off the field.

Job Support
Through a strong partnership with the Colorado Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Commonground Coaches meet clients right in their place of work to provide personalized support and guidance on the job. This approach helps clients feel empowered as they learn new skills, develop their abilities, and build the confidence needed to become successful, independent employees in the future.

Postsecondary Support
In partnership with the Colorado Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, Commonground works with students and schools to help develop the essential skills needed for success both in academics and the workforce. Through tailored programs and ongoing support, we focus on building critical thinking, communication, time management, and teamwork abilities. Our goal is to equip students with the confidence and tools to thrive as learners and future employees in a competitive environment.

Private Athletic Sessions
Commonground now offers 1:1 Athletic Sessions. This service is open to people of all abilities and is customized to each participant’s goals. From building strength, providing a break for caregivers, or learning a new sport, Private Athletics can support in many ways. Contact Commonground for a quote.
Get Enrolled with DVR!
Before Commonground can work with clients, there are steps that must be completed.
Referral
Individuals with a qualifying disability can be referred to work with DVR. Contact Commonground to learn how to get referred.
Paperwork
Complete and return the Release of Information paperwork (available below). DVR, the client’s high school (if applicable), and Commonground must be authorized by the client to work together.
Authorization
Meet virtually with DVR to discuss goals of working with Commonground. From here, clients will be authorized to work with Commonground Coaches.
Release of Information
To work with Commonground, clients must complete an ROI form. This form lets us share necessary information with community partner to help you reach your goals.
